You appear to have found the online home of Chris Edge, a thirty-something forty-something E-Commerce specialist that lives in Englefield Green in Surrey with his wife Larissa, daughter Isobel and two six year old dogs, a Staffordshire Pit Bull Terrier called Frankie and a Border Terrier who will occasionally answer to the name of Mishka.

I am currently the UK Customer Success Director of SLI System's an on site search solution primarily for e-commerce customers where I have been happily for the past 7 years. Before SLI I was head of Account Management at E-Commerce platform agency Snow Valley (Now Micros Ecommerce / Oracle), and I cut my teeth for 9 years after graduating in 1998 with TRL doing a whole manner of things from Fortran and VB programming, a whole host of internet stuff and occasionally optimising high speed traffic light junctions.

Outside of work and family life I am a keen cricketer and although very much in the winter of my career still turn out for my local team Windsor Cricket Club, and despite my better judgement follow the fortunes of the criminally underachieving Sheffield United Football Club.

Professional IT manager with almost 20 years’ experience in the Internet field. Specialising in eCommerce I have held a range of jobs in this area including Account Management, Sales, Development and Consultancy. I actively use analytics to drive decision making and believe data to be the cornerstone of any successful eCommerce business. For the past 9 years, I have worked almost exclusively with UK Tier 1 eCommerce companies interacting with C level managers and have managed teams of people and developed new processes to help my clients achieve success in their online business.
